Utah C.A.R. Society State Conference

Our Utah State Society Children of the American Revolution state conference was held March 4, 2017 in Salt Lake City.  Our C.A.R. president and senior president presided over the meeting.

We had lovely music, provided by one of our state C.A.R. members

Our C.A.R. officers gave reports and helped with registration.

From our youngest C.A.R. members to our oldest, many participated!

We had adorable C.A.R. pages!

Our C.A.R. president’s project was to fundraise for a recumbent bike for Continue Mission, an organization that “CONTINUE MISSION IS A 501(c)(3) NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION serving Veterans with service connected physical, mental, and emotional injuries. We aim to inspire, empower, and involve Veterans and their families and referred Service Members in recreational and educational programs that promote health and wellness and positive life changing experiences. We are dedicated to raising mental health awareness and taking an active role in suicide prevention.”  Click on the link to learn more!

The SAR state president was also in attendance at our conference.

Before the conference adjourned, the new slate of state officers was sworn in.

We enjoyed a pizza lunch afterwards

We were able to tour the Utah State Capitol before C.A.R. members returned to their homes.

It was a lovely state conference, many thanks to all who participated and worked behind the scenes to make it happen!
