Utah State Society C.A.R. State Conference 2017

We participated in our first Utah State Society Children of the American Revolution State Conference this spring.

The Dominguez y Escalante officers gave excellent reports about our activities during the past year.

Several of our members received awards for the JAC contest.

Our Utah State Society President’s service project this year was to raise money for a recumbent bike for Continue Mission, a wonderful organization that helps injured veterans transition to civilian life through a variety of recreational activities. Our president worked hard this year to raise that money in a variety of ways. We had a silent auction at our state conference to help with his efforts.

We presented the money we raised to Continue Mission’s founders Joshua and Melissa Hansen. We were thrilled to help such a worthy cause in our community.

Then we swore in our new state officers for 2017-2018. Congratulations!

After our meeting, we ate lunch.

Then we went on a tour of the capital building.

Thank you to all those who planned and participated in such a great first state conference!
