Fall 2019 Meeting and Activity

Welcome to another exciting year of C.A.R. Our new President took the gavel and did a great job!

We learned about the Ferry Farm, George Washington’s boyhood home and historical site containing colonial and Civil War artifacts. Our chapter plans to raise funds for the Ferry Farm Foundations of Freedom Project. We specifically plan to help with the creation of a replica of George Washington’s family desk. This aligns with one of our goals: historical preservation.

We heard an interesting presentation about the Navajo Code Talkers.

To celebrate Constitution Week, we had fun activity where we wrote with feathers and India Ink.

We are also accepting children’s books to donate to the Utah Food Bank.

We loved our new venue!

Our next activity will be in October. See you then!
