2020 Utah C.A.R. State Conference

We held our state conference at the Hutchins Museum where we saw impressive displays of local rocks, minerals, bird eggs and artifacts of Native Americans and pioneers. We also saw a live animal show and participated in a patriotic wreath laying ceremony in front of the museum.

Our silent auction had some great items to bid on including Easter packages, blankets, cookies, water balloons, games and wooden signs.

Our C.A.R. State President is from our Dominguez y Escalante chapter. She did a great job leading the meeting! Our chapter officers who also serve as state officers gave their yearly reports.

After intermission, guest speaker Judge Lynn Davis spoke about American history highlights and allowed the C.A.R. kids to handle the artifacts that he brought from his personal collection.

He also brought each child an American flag magnet and a copy of the Constitution of the United States.

At the end of the meeting, our State President honored our Veteran guest, Cline Mills. She presented him with a beautiful hand-made quilt that she had made.

We hope you all stay safe and healthy during these stressful times. We hope to see you all soon!
